Builders Council

Description

The Builders Council generally meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month. The council discusses topics and issues relating to the building industry as well as exchanging information, experiences and industry concerns. The council meets with government and elected officials on matters concerning local building codes, ordinances, and/or regulations affecting the construction of housing in our community. 

Council participation may include: 

• Overseeing building code issues
• Meeting with the Building Department and elected officials when necessary 
• Educate members and the Board of Directors on code issues 
• Attend hearings and testify before boards, committees, commission
